Calgary Youth Justice Society: 25 Year Anniversary Timeline
Commissioned to commemorate CYJS’s 25th anniversary, this large-format print banner was designed for public display at a celebratory event. The challenge lay in presenting a high volume of organizational data—both visual and textual—in a way that was accessible, engaging, and visually balanced. I worked closely with the client to find the right harmony between design aesthetics and information density, resulting in a final piece that celebrated their legacy while remaining clear, compelling, and print-ready for large-scale presentation.
Football Card Re-Design: 2024 Buffalo Bills In 1964 Topps Style
A lifelong passion for sports card collecting inspired this personal project. Drawing from the iconic 1964 Topps NFL design, I created a modern tribute featuring current Buffalo Bills players. Each card is styled with intentional wear and retro detailing to authentically capture the look and feel of a well-loved vintage collectible.
Machine Gun Kelly: Tattoo Flash
This American Traditional flash sheet was hand-painted, then digitally enhanced, as a tribute to Tickets to My Downfall — one of my all-time favorite records by Machine Gun Kelly. The collection features six original designs inspired by the songs “drunk face,” “kiss kiss,” “bloody valentine,” “forget me too,” “jawbreaker,” and “banyan tree.” Each piece translates the album’s raw emotion, pop-punk energy, and vulnerability into bold, symbolic visuals rooted in traditional tattoo aesthetics. The fusion of analog and digital techniques gives the flash a textured, expressive edge that matches the spirit of the record.
Fall Out Boy: Tattoo Flash
This hand-painted American Traditional flash sheet pays tribute to Folie à Deux, my favorite Fall Out Boy album. The collection features six original designs inspired by standout tracks including “I Don’t Care,” “America’s Suitehearts,” “Disloyal Order of the Water Buffaloes,” “She’s My Winona,” “Coffee’s For Closers,” and “Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown on a Bad Bet.” The flash also includes a reinterpretation of the album’s iconic bear-and-boy cover art, fusing it with bold traditional tattoo aesthetics. Each piece reflects the album’s theatrical, chaotic charm — blending satire, emotion, and symbolism into timeless visuals that speak to the heart of this era of Fall Out Boy.
The Maine: Tattoo Flash
This hand-painted American Traditional flash sheet pays tribute to Pioneer, the third studio album by The Maine. Featuring six original designs inspired by standout tracks — “Identify,” “Like We Did (Windows Down),” “Some Days,” “Thinking of You,” “Don’t Stop Listening to Rock and Roll,” and “Don’t Give Up on Us” — the set visually interprets the emotion and storytelling woven throughout the record. Each piece blends lyric-driven symbolism with bold, timeless tattoo aesthetics.
Calgary Flames: Tattoo Flash
This hand-painted American Traditional flash sheet is a tribute to my favorite NHL team, the Calgary Flames. The collection features bold, nostalgic designs inspired by iconic players including Jarome Iginla, Miikka Kiprusoff, Sean Monahan, and Johnny Gaudreau, as well as fan-favorite mascot Harvey the Hound. The Saddledome — a symbol of Calgary’s hockey history — is also featured, honoring its legacy as the team’s legendary home arena. Each design fuses classic tattoo styling with deep hometown pride, celebrating the culture, characters, and legacy of Flames hockey.
Hamilton: Tattoo Flash
Each design element visually interprets recurring motifs and lines from the show, capturing the revolutionary spirit, emotional depth, and lyrical brilliance that define the musical. The piece blends timeless tattoo symbolism with historical storytelling, resulting in a stylized tribute to both the art form and the source material. The design was recognized and retweeted by the official Hamilton Twitter account, underscoring its resonance with fans and the production alike.
Fall Out Boy - Love From The Other Side
This piece is a visual tribute to Fall Out Boy’s lead single “Love From The Other Side,” from their So Much (For) Stardust album. Rendered in the style of American Traditional tattoo art, the design weaves together lyrical references, visual metaphors, and nods to the band’s Chicago roots.
At its core, the image of a skeleton hand stabbing a human hand brings to life the line “Every lover’s got a little dagger in their hand,” capturing the pain of love’s aftermath. A blue-toned Chicago skyline anchors the design in the band’s hometown, echoing the lyric “This city always hangs a little bit lonely on me.” Above it all, an oversized sun—emblazoned with the band’s new half-smiley logo—symbolizes the enduring presence of lost love, drawn from the lyric “You were the sunshine of my lifetime.” Though bright, the sun casts a melancholic shadow, encapsulating the song’s bittersweet tone in a single image.
Voyage Fest Poster
Designed for Voyage Fest, a Calgary-based EDM concert reimagined as a live-streamed experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. The poster’s concept centered around the theme of “Voyage” — visually interpreting music as a transformative force capable of transporting the listener beyond physical boundaries. I crafted a surreal, immersive design that symbolized a person being swept away by sound, evoking movement, escape, and emotional resonance. The final piece served not only as promotional material but as a visual anchor for the festival’s identity during a time when digital connection replaced live gatherings.
Lady Gaga Poster
Created for an Adobe Creative Allies contest, this promotional poster celebrates the release of Lady Gaga’s sixth studio album, Chromatica. Inspired by the album’s bold, futuristic aesthetic, the color palette draws directly from the official artwork.
The central composition is rich with layered symbolism, paying tribute to iconic moments across Gaga’s discography. From the Poker Face playing cards to the flaming bra from her unforgettable 2009 MMVA performance, each element was meticulously selected to reflect her evolution as an artist and cultural icon. The result is a fan-driven, deeply referential piece that honors Gaga’s visual legacy through design.
Harry Styles: Tattoo Flash
This hand-painted American Traditional flash sheet is inspired by Fine Line, the second studio album by Harry Styles. Featuring six original designs drawn from the songs “Adore You,” “She,” “Falling,” “Sunflower (Vol. 6),” “Fine Line,” and “Canyon Moon,” the collection captures the album’s dreamy, emotional, and often surreal atmosphere. Each piece uses classic tattoo motifs to explore themes of love, longing, vulnerability, and joy, blending vintage-inspired visuals with the distinct mood and storytelling of the record.
Freaky Friday: Tattoo Flash
This digital American Traditional flash sheet pays homage to Freaky Friday — one of my all-time favorite films. The collection features bold, nostalgic designs inspired by iconic moments and symbols from the movie, including the logos of the House of Blues and the fictional band Pink Slip. Matching fortune cookie tattoos nod to the body-swap twist, and a design immortalizing Jamie Lee Curtis’ unforgettable “cryptkeeper” line. This flash blends pop culture references with classic tattoo aesthetics, celebrating the film’s chaotic heart and lasting cult appeal.
Twenty One Pilots Poster
This poster was created for an Adobe Creative Allies contest to promote Twenty One Pilots’ Bandito Tour in 2019, with a specific focus on the Calgary show. Inspired by the band’s third studio album, the design centers on their signature black and yellow color scheme, carrying through the tour’s dystopian-yet-hopeful aesthetic. Key imagery includes the flaming torch, symbolic bird, and yellow caution tape — all recurring motifs in the Bandito era. The inclusion of the Calgary skyline personalizes the piece for the local show and nods to the album’s emotional final track, “Leave the City.” The result is a conceptual, city-specific tribute that blends fan perspective with bold, thematic design.
