The Maine: Tattoo Flash
This hand-painted American Traditional flash sheet pays tribute to Pioneer, the third studio album by The Maine. Featuring six original designs inspired by standout tracks — “Identify,” “Like We Did (Windows Down),” “Some Days,” “Thinking of You,” “Don’t Stop Listening to Rock and Roll,” and “Don’t Give Up on Us” — the set visually interprets the emotion and storytelling woven throughout the record. Each piece blends lyric-driven symbolism with bold, timeless tattoo aesthetics.
Notably, one of the designs — a lemon from “Some Days” — was tattooed by a fan in the UK, marking the first time my artwork became a permanent part of someone else’s story.
This hand-painted American Traditional flash sheet draws inspiration from Forever Halloween, the fourth studio album by The Maine. The collection features six original designs interpreting key tracks — “Blood Red,” “Run,” “Love & Drugs,” “Kennedy Curse,” “Sad Songs,” and the title track, “Forever Halloween.” Each piece translates the album’s haunting emotional landscape into bold, symbolic imagery, using the timeless language of traditional tattoo art. The flash balances raw vulnerability with classic motifs, echoing the darker, more introspective tone of the record.
This digital American Traditional flash sheet was inspired by American Candy, the fifth studio album by The Maine. Featuring six unique designs for the songs “My Hair,” “English Girls,” “(Un)lost,” “24 Floors,” “Diet Soda Society,” and “Another Night on Mars,” the collection channels the album’s vibrant energy and introspective lyricism through bold lines and symbolic visuals. Designed to reflect the emotional highs and lows woven throughout the record, each piece brings a modern edge to classic tattoo aesthetics.
The collection was personally recognized by lead singer John O’Callaghan, who shared it via his Instagram Story.
