Calgary Youth Justice Society: 25 Year Anniversary Timeline

Commissioned to commemorate CYJS’s 25th anniversary, this large-format print banner was designed for public display at a celebratory event. The challenge lay in presenting a high volume of organizational data—both visual and textual—in a way that was accessible, engaging, and visually balanced. I worked closely with the client to find the right harmony between design aesthetics and information density, resulting in a final piece that celebrated their legacy while remaining clear, compelling, and print-ready for large-scale presentation.

Fall Out Boy - Love From The Other Side

This piece is a visual tribute to Fall Out Boy’s lead single “Love From The Other Side,” from their So Much (For) Stardust album. Rendered in the style of American Traditional tattoo art, the design weaves together lyrical references, visual metaphors, and nods to the band’s Chicago roots.

At its core, the image of a skeleton hand stabbing a human hand brings to life the line “Every lover’s got a little dagger in their hand,” capturing the pain of love’s aftermath. A blue-toned Chicago skyline anchors the design in the band’s hometown, echoing the lyric “This city always hangs a little bit lonely on me.” Above it all, an oversized sun—emblazoned with the band’s new half-smiley logo—symbolizes the enduring presence of lost love, drawn from the lyric “You were the sunshine of my lifetime.” Though bright, the sun casts a melancholic shadow, encapsulating the song’s bittersweet tone in a single image.

Voyage Fest Poster

Designed for Voyage Fest, a Calgary-based EDM concert reimagined as a live-streamed experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. The poster’s concept centered around the theme of “Voyage” — visually interpreting music as a transformative force capable of transporting the listener beyond physical boundaries. I crafted a surreal, immersive design that symbolized a person being swept away by sound, evoking movement, escape, and emotional resonance. The final piece served not only as promotional material but as a visual anchor for the festival’s identity during a time when digital connection replaced live gatherings.

Twenty One Pilots Poster

This poster was created for an Adobe Creative Allies contest to promote Twenty One Pilots’ Bandito Tour in 2019, with a specific focus on the Calgary show. Inspired by the band’s third studio album, the design centers on their signature black and yellow color scheme, carrying through the tour’s dystopian-yet-hopeful aesthetic. Key imagery includes the flaming torch, symbolic bird, and yellow caution tape — all recurring motifs in the Bandito era. The inclusion of the Calgary skyline personalizes the piece for the local show and nods to the album’s emotional final track, “Leave the City.” The result is a conceptual, city-specific tribute that blends fan perspective with bold, thematic design.
